International Mechanical Engineering Congress and Exposition
Don’t miss your chance to connect with 1,600+ research leaders, advance your career, and innovate at the intersection of engineering disciplines.
Dear American Society of Mechanical Engineers:
I am honored that the American Society of Mechanical Engineers selected Portland as the host city for your International Mechanical Engineering Congress and Exposition. I know that you had many destinations to choose from, and we at Travel Portland are so excited to host your meeting.
In Portland, we pride ourselves on having something to offer everyone. Find it all tax-free — from excellent hotels and meeting facilities to outstanding restaurants and great shopping at local boutiques and major retailers. The City of Roses also has a thriving arts community, internationally acclaimed local wines and microbrews, intriguing history, and incredible scenic wonder. Portland works hard on our eco-friendly and sustainable ethos by developing innovative public transit, preserving the area’s natural beauty, and supporting the local chefs and growers who give our food scene its one-of-a-kind flavor. That said, you may be most impressed by the friendly, professional and hospitable people you’ll meet here.
Don’t take my word for it, though — you’ll have the pleasure of experiencing it firsthand. We look forward to welcoming the American Society of Mechanical Engineers and the International Mechanical Engineering Congress and Exposition (and you!) to Portland.
Best regards,
Jeff Miller
President and CEO
