The largest Pendleton outlet store is also the site of a working woolen mill founded in 1912. In addition to amazing savings on premium Pendleton products, visitors can take a free tour of the mill to see the whole process from the dye house, to spinning and weaving and finishing for Pendleton’s distinctive Native American-inspired blankets. Public tours for individuals and small groups (under 10 people) are held Monday through Friday at 9 a.m., 10 a.m., 11 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Reservations are not required, but spaces are filled on a first come basis. Please call ahead for tours and reservations. Mon-Fri 8-5, Sat 9-5, Sun 11-5.
