With summers spent camping in the great outdoors and winters spent snuggled up next to a roaring fireplace, it’s always s’mores season in Portland. Celebrate all things chocolate-marshmallow-graham-cracker at these deliciously creative s’mores destinations:
Nineteen27 S’mores
A food cart devoted solely to s’mores? Only in Portland! Named after the year that the first s’more recipe was documented (in a Girl Scouts book, naturally), 1927 Smores offers a variety of gourmet-grade graham crackers, marshmallows, spreads and toppings, each made to order and blow-torched to perfection. We’ve got our eye on the Peppermint Patty, made with chocolate grahams, peppermint marshmallows and bittersweet fudge sauce.
The Fireside
Two roaring hearths make The Fireside an inviting place to linger on chilly evenings. Cozy up to the flames and enjoy the restaurant’s signature dessert, Fireside S’mores, layered with housemade marshmallows and graham crackers and dreamy dark chocolate ganache.

ASH Woodfired
Known for its seasonal, fire-singed pizzas, South Waterfront food cart ASH Woodfired has also perfected the s’more. Ingredients like gelatin-free marshmallows, Moonstruck dark chocolate and graham crackers from Petunia’s Pies & Pastries also make these tasty treats 100% vegan.
Base Camp Brewing
With carabiner tap handles, lightweight aluminum bottles and a sprawling, fire-lit patio, Base Camp is the next best thing to a night in the woods. Visit the taproom and raise a toast to cozy campfires with the S’more Stout, a smooth, chocolate-y beer with enticing aromas of coffee, fig and smoke, adorably garnished with a toasted marshmallow.
The Pie Spot
The cupcake-sized pies at Northeast bakery The Pie Spot are perfectly proportioned to be single-serving sweet treats — but don’t be surprised if you crave seconds of the S’more Pie Spot, made with milk chocolate ganache, housemade marshmallow fluff and a graham cracker crust, topped with more marshmallow and toasted to campfire-level perfection.
Caravan
Time your visit right and you could catch a truly unique Songs & S’mores Party at Caravan, which bills itself as the world’s first tiny house hotel. Each Wednesday evening throughout the summer, Caravan invites guests to gather around a bonfire for local music, stories, tiny house tours, and — you guessed it — all-you-can-eat s’mores!
