Every season is pie season in Portland! Find your favorite flavor at these delicious local pie spots.

Lauretta Jean’s

Since 2011, Lauretta Jean’s has grown from a humble farmers’ market booth to one of the city’s most cherished bakeries, known for both its flaky biscuit breakfast plates and its buttery handmade pies. A rotating menu features sophisticated seasonal fillings such as honey hazelnut, black-bottom coconut and rhubarb raspberry sour cream. Each pie is available a la mode with homemade ice cream.

Pie Spot

Portland mainstay Pie Spot is best known for its ingenious cupcake-sized pies, perfect for small appetites or folks who want to try a bite of every flavor. As you sample your way through single-serving pies filled with s’mores, brown butter pecan and banana cream with salted caramel, save room for extra treats like cinnamon toast crunch cookies and pie crust cinnamon rolls.

Petunia’s Pies and Pastries

Another Portland Farmers Market favorite, Petunia’s specializes in desserts that are not only delicious, but gluten-free and vegan, to boot. Pie lovers of all diets can share a slice of bumble berry peach filled with the best of Oregon’s summer bounty (raspberries, blueberries, Marionberries and peaches), topped with sugary streusel.

Portland Coffee

The local passion for fine ingredients and careful craft extends into coffee cups.

Pacific Pie Company

You might expect all Portland pie shops to be inspired by a love of fresh Oregon berries, but Pacific Pie Company was actually born from a craving for Australian meat pies. Founded by a talented baker and her homesick Aussie husband, the eatery offers a long list of savory pies filled with roast lamb, pulled pork, green chicken curry and Moroccan chickpeas. For dessert, try an apple pie sundae or chocolate bourbon hazelnut pie shake.

Bipartisan Cafe

Southeast Montavilla’s Bipartisan Café has two top priorities: community and pie. The cozy neighborhood gathering place offers a variety of flavors, including scrumptious vegan and gluten-free options, handmade and baked fresh daily. Whole pies are available for purchase without pre-order, but if you’re looking for something specific — say chocolate orange cream or pear candied ginger — you’ll want to order in advance.
