Paper Marbling

Join artist and educator Gordon Barnes in our Southeast Portland studio for this playful 1-day workshop where he’ll demonstrate how to produce a series of vibrant, organic prints on handmade Japanese paper. Gordon will discuss essential marbling materials, safe handling of materials, and how to set up your studio to continue creating these prints at home. Students will experiment with numerous sample papers and leave with fourteen or more unique pieces of 8” x 10” marbled washi paper.
