The following description was submitted by the event organizer.

Come every Tuesday in March and April to eat, drink, and draw with fellow artistic folks to raise funds to make Flashback. Bring your own art supplies or borrow some of theirs. Coloring books will also be available to draw within the lines (no shame).

What is Flashback, you ask? When it's done, it will be a documentary honoring the legacy of the Flash Animation cartoons and computer games that characterized the 2000s. (Think Homestar Runner, Line Rider, Grow Cube, Badger Badger Badger, etc.) Well-known creators of the time will be interviewed, as well as current efforts by grassroots historians to preserve and archive these creations now that the plugin to run Flash no longer exists.

Drawing Socials are all ages and free to attend, however, donations are gladly received which are tax-deductible through the fiscal sponsor, Portland Art Museum and Center for an Untold Tomorrow.
