Field and Vine Events are known for farm-to-table family-style dining and are teaming up with Alpacas at Marquam Hill Ranch and enjoy an incredible dinner at their property with their alpacas.
One of the season’s most unique dinners is at Alpacas at Marquam Hill Ranch. Meet these inquisitive, entertaining, peaceful alpacas and sip away on some of the best wines and spirits in Oregon. Then dine out in the pasture, surrounded by the most sublime alpacas, who, if you’re lucky, will pronk into the sunset as you savor the last sweet bite.
Argyle was started in 1987 by pioneering vinter Rollin Soles, believing that the cool climate of Oregon’s Willamette Valley was ideal for producing sparkling wines. Although famous for their sparkling wines, Agyle’s wine program now includes Chardonnays, Pinot Noirs and Rieslings, which have earned acclaim for their elegance, vineyard-driven character and uncommon age-ability.
The Double Circle Spirits story started when the Johnson family homesteaded in 1875 at the Johnson Ranch in Wasco County, 17 miles (27 km) southeast of The Dalles. Several generations later, Jason Johnson pursued his lifelong dream of distilling spirits from the wheat of the family ranch. They bottled and sold their first Columbia Plateau Vodka in 2015. The family ranch’s wheat and subtle character is the overarching theme in all their products.
