The World Culture Festival was born out of an inspiration to create a celebration that reflected both the world’s unity and incredible diversity with it's music and dance, soaring artistry and visionary dreams. And so a stage was born. Since it's inception in 2006, the festival has entertained, thrilled, and inspired more than five million people world-wide. Past festivals were held in Berlin, New Delhi, and Bangalore.

This year Portland, Oregon is hosting a local edition of the 2023 Global World Culture Festival. This event includes a blend of magical performances from cultures across the globe, a resounding peace meditation and honoring distinguished community leaders who have positively impacted the well-being of the city.

Some of the featured artists include:
1. Michael Allen Harrison and troupe along with Julianne Johnson – nationally acclaimed musicians and singers.
2. Inna Kovtun – renowned Ukranian singer.
3. White Lotus Lion and Dragon Dance – a splendid Chinese group dance.
4. Kalabharathi Bharatnatyam and Portland Taiko – uplifting fusion of classical South Indian dance and Japanese drumming.
