In 2010, the inaugural One Motorcycle Show (often referred to simply as “One Moto”) was hosted in an abandoned warehouse near downtown Portland. “Because we thought it’d be fun,” organizers say.

The three-day One Moto Show event has evolved significantly since then. The weekend draws thousands of fans into Portland to revel in bikes, biker culture, and abundant fun. The showcase at The One Moto features hundreds of motorcycles from across the globe, offering an inclusive display that honors unconventional, unique, and custom-built bikes.

What started as a fun side project has turned into a force of nature.

Thor Drake

“What started as a fun side project has turned into a force of nature,” says Thor Drake, event organizer. (Drake also founded Northeast Portland’s coffee shop/biker gear store See See Motorcycles). “I don’t mean that in a bragging way – but as a humble and enthusiastic participant of something that has grown bigger and better than I ever imagined. I sort of liken it to the progression of a living being. What started out as a simple idea has transformed over the years. Some years were hard learning experiences, some years blossoming into progression. All years contributing to the creation of something that is meaningful to the greater community.”

One Moto Show 2025

The One Motorcycle Show is North America’s largest custom bike show and will be held at the historic Zidell Yards. This year marks the show’s 16th anniversary and will occur from Friday, May 2, to Sunday, May 4. Founded by Thor Drake and the See See Motor Coffee family, this annual gathering attracts young and old, wild and mild, moto enthusiasts and non-motorcyclists alike. The weekend is filled with excitement, inspiration, and more than 300 custom motorcycles. There will also be cars, art, helmets, live music, stunt shows, world-class riders, celebrity appearances, awards, after-parties, and top vendors. The One Moto Show guarantees an unforgettable experience.

The venue, Zidell Yards, with its historic family-owned industrial building, provides a rustic and open-air setting along Portland’s Southwest Waterfront. Once a shipyard from the 1930s until 2017, the 14-acre property exudes the scent of old grease and metalwork. The shipyard offers the perfect textured backdrop to showcase the custom motorcycles and celebrate racing, community, and biker culture as it has for over a decade.
