Please join the 41st annual Rose Festival gallery Art Show and reception at OSA. The OSA Rose Festival Show is an artistic celebration of the City of Portland and its traditions surrounding its iconic flower, the rose. The official Portland Rose Festival theme is “Dream Forward” this year.

OSA is honored to participate in the events surrounding this festival by unveiling a portrait of this year's Rose Festival Queen and presenting paintings in our gallery, which feature scenes from around Portland and still-life portraits of roses.

This year's Rose Festival show will be juried by Ron Stocke. Born in 1966 in Chico, California, Ron Stocke moved to the Pacific Northwest in 1979. Ron, an award-winning watercolor artist, is a regular contributor and has been a cover artist for Watercolor Artist Magazine and other publications. He teaches comprehensive workshops throughout North America and Europe, conducts demonstrations and lectures on various art materials, and creates a safe, environmentally friendly studio. Ron holds Signature Membership with the American Watercolor Society, National Watercolor Society, Northwest Watercolor Society, is an elected member of the Canadian Society of Painters in Watercolour, and is a member of the American Impressionist Society. He has been an Artist Ambassador for M.Graham Watercolors for over 15 years.
