The Oregon Rail Heritage Center in the OMSI district has three Oregon steam engines built in the early 20th century. The ORHC tells the story of Pacific Northwest railroads through guided interpretation, presentations, exhibits and events. Each holiday season, these historic locomotives pull the Holiday Express along the Willamette River. The ORHC is located near the Central Loop streetcar terminus, just east of the Southeast Water and Caruthers intersection. Free parking.
