These major local venues play host to some of the city's grandest sporting events.

  • Moda Center

    This multipurpose arena — with a capacity of nearly 20,00 — is home to the Portland Trail Blazers and the Portland Winterhawks. It also hosts a wide variety of events, concerts and more.

  • Providence Park

    Home to the Timbers and Thorns soccer teams (and their fans), this stadium was built in 1926 and was expanded in 2019 to offer sweeping views and local food and drink.

  • The Hangar at Oaks Park

    Proud home of Portland's Rose City Rollers roller derby team, the Hangar at Oaks Park is host to rowdy annual roller derby championships and regular matches between local and traveling teams.

  • Portland International Raceway

    Portland International Raceway is a multi-use park built around a two-mile road course, drag strip and motocross track. It's home to the Grand Prix of Portland, held every Labor Day weekend.

  • Veterans Memorial Coliseum

    This 12,000-seat event venue at the Rose Quarter is the main home of the Portland Winterhawks WHL hockey team and was the original home of the Trail Blazers. Opened in 1960 as a memorial to veterans from all wars, it hosts over 150 events per year.
