Annual Mother’s Day Events in Portland

Mother’s Day Brunch at the Oregon Zoo

Each year, the Oregon Zoo celebrates both animal and human moms with a Mother’s Day brunch. Participants enjoy a delicious spread of starters, salads, breakfast entrées, pastries and desserts (not to mention sparkling wine and mimosas). After brunch, families can stroll around the zoo to say hello to other great mothers, like Asian elephant Rose-Tu. (She’s mom to Samudra, who was born in 2008 at the Oregon Zoo).
