St. Johns Farmers Market, a program of St. Johns Center for Opportunity, is proud to announce that the opening day of its 15th season will be on Saturday, May 6, at the intersection of N Charleston Ave and N Central St, located two blocks north of James John Elementary School. The market will be held every Saturday thereafter through October 28.

The St. Johns Farmers Market supports a local, sustainable food supply while providing opportunities for emerging farmers, contributing to the health of all local residents, encouraging cross-cultural connections and dialogue and enhancing the community and business vitality of St. Johns.

“We are delighted to welcome back many of our beloved vendors from previous years as well as new and emerging vendors who will be with us for the first time in 2023,” says Michaelyn Chess, Market Manager.  She adds, “St. Johns Farmers Market proudly participates in Double Up Food Bucks and will offer a SNAP match of up to $20 per household per market day. Simply bring your Oregon Trail card to the Information Booth at the market for more information.”

SJFM wishes to thank its generous sponsors: Prosper Portland, Metro, iQ Credit Union, Farmers Market Fund, St. Johns Bachelor Club, and St. Johns Church.
