Composed of people who love samba, Bloco Alegria celebrates the music, dance and culture of Brazil. Playing the heart-pumping rhythms of Rio's carnival parades gives this band its unique sound and vibrancy, making you want to get up and dance.
Nothing says summer in Portland like a warm evening outdoors with good food and live entertainment. From June to August, the Oregon Zoo hosts Zoo Nights: evenings filled with local music, food carts, activities for all ages, and the chance to get to know some of the animals active during twilight hours.
