Join the opening reception of “Other Contexts,” a solo collage show by Portland-based artist Kate Garklavs. Garklavs’ hairscapes — fanciful landscapes accented by cut-out images of hair — examine queer identity through fragmentation and re-fashioning/re-contextualization.
