Divine Expressions: Drawing the Face
The following description was submitted by the event organizer.
Ah, the human face. Why is drawing faces so challenging? In this workshop, you’ll learn tips and tricks for drawing faces at a variety of angles as well as the subtle facial characteristics to look for when you want to draw a specific person. Artist and Church of Art founder Erika Halperin will start the workshop by leading the group in a discussion of selected artworks and photographs. She will then guide the group through a series of hands-on drawing exercises, working with each student individually to answer questions and provide feedback.
This workshop is for anyone new to drawing or looking to strengthen their drawing skills.
All supplies and materials included. Using graphite and charcoal primarily on a variety of drawing papers.
Includes:
- 4.5 hours of instruction and drawing in a supportive, friendly environment
- Donut holes and non-alcoholic beverages
- That wonderful feeling of joy and connectedness that comes from a few hours of creative, artistic play with other adults.
