The following description was submitted by the event organizer.

Join PHAME and Community Vision and help celebrate Disability Pride Month with creativity, community, and local art. July is Disability Pride Month, and PHAME and Community Vision are marking the occasion with a joyful mini‑festival honoring the vibrancy, creativity, and power of the community. They’re transforming the street between their buildings into an accessible, block‑party‑style celebration—filled with connection, joy, and pride.

  • Live performances: from PHAME musicians, vocalists, dancers, and comedy troupe, plus sets from DJ Lamar and other artists.
  • Community connections and creativity: Disability‑focused organizations from across Portland will share resources, collaborative activities, and hands‑on art projects.
  • Delicious local food: Vendors will be serving up tasty bites throughout the event.
  • A vibrant, accessible space: Festivities will take place in the car‑free street between our two spaces, inside PHAME, and in Community Vision’s open‑air parking garage.

Come for the performances, art, food, and community—stay for the joy.

The full event is wheelchair accessible. Wheelchair-accessible restrooms are available inside Community Vision’s building on the first floor and inside PHAME’s lobby. Additional restrooms for all attendees are available in PHAME’s building as well.

There will be ASL interpretation.
