Blazing fearlessly through jazz, pop, classical, and everything in between, and with jaw-dropping skill and a mischievous sense of fun, this award-winning saxophone sextet, from soprano to bass, delivers a performance that’s equal parts talent and joy. Whether reimagining a Mozart overture or tearing up a New Orleans’ jam, their contagious energy and dazzling precision have to be heard to be believed.
The Moanin’ Frogs’ program will include a diverse selection of pieces, from classical masterpieces like J. S. Bach’s “Toccata and Fugue in D Minor” to popular hits like Journey’s “Don’t Stop Believin’.”
