Gay Witch Appreciation Day and Pride
The following description was submitted by the event organizer.
This one goes out to all of the witches whose magic is still unfurling, to those who exist boldly, beautifully, exuberantly, and to all those in between. The world sure is a better place because you’re in it. Save the date and get ready to bask in your queer, witchy, magical self at the apothecary. Celebrate the amazing witches of the community every month, but July is extraordinarily special: a bonus gay celebration, because Portland celebrates Pride in July.
Here’s all the magic brewing:
- 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.: Tarot for Spellcasting
- 11:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.: Aura Photography with Your Cosmic Crown
- 12:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.: Tarot Readings with Juno
- An in-person raffle fundraiser. You could win a sweet little goodie bag ($60 value). (Raffle tickets are $5, and you can sign up in the shop during the event. All raffle proceeds will go to MECA)

This is a free weekend-long fundraising event. A portion of in-store and online sales for this weekend will be donated to MECA.
