Soul On The Floor
Veteran Portland DJ, Sonny Phono, will spin a blend of Soul, Funk and a little bit of Disco, along with remixes all night. Make date night plans to get the legendary floating floor bouncing.
Sonny Phono is a Portland-based DJ with roots in San Diego whose skills were forged over 20 years in San Francisco. Since relocating to Portland in 2020, he has made his new home a loving one. He is a co-resident at the long-running Motown On Mondays at Sugar Hill, hosts a Golden Era Hip Hop night at The Trough, both in Southeast. You can also find him playing sporadically at Soho House Portland and on the concourse inside the Moda Center before Trail Blazers games. Most recently, he’s accepted the position of Music Supervisor and Official DJ for the Hillsboro Hops. Friendly, funky and fresh, he’s a versatile party rocker in any setting.
