Climb aboard for a memorable rail adventure through the heart of Portland. The Oregon Rail Heritage Center’s popular weekend train rides return, with departures every Saturday and Sunday behind historic diesel locomotive BNSF 3613. Perfect for families, visitors, and train lovers of all ages, these scenic excursions offer a unique way to experience Portland from the rails. Passengers can ride in an open-air car or relax in a vintage air-conditioned coach while taking in views of Portland’s skyline, the riverfront, local wildlife, and the timeless charm of Oaks Park.
Your ticket also includes admission to the Oregon Rail Heritage Center, where guests can explore Portland’s rich rail history and see historic locomotives up close.
Whether it’s your first train ride or a favorite family tradition, this classic Portland experience is one you won’t want to miss.
Advance ticket purchase is recommended. Service charges apply. Please arrive at least 20 minutes before departure for check-in and boarding.
