The Imperfecta Gallery is excited to present Frol.ic.some. This invitational group show includes new works by artists from Argentina, Canada, Latvia, Peru, the UK, Ukraine, and the USA.
frol·ic·Some focus is on all things lively and playful — imagine Hieronymus Bosch eating pastel bomboms with Marc Chagall on a sunny spring day, surrounded by daffodils while Louis Armstrong sings What A Wonderful World. Or perhaps Mark Ryden playing hopscotch with Keith Haring in Olafur Eliasson’s Rainbow panorama, while Takashi Murakami hums Pharrell Williams’ Happy.
Invited artists include: Alice Langlois, Alex Kuno, Andrea Hooge, Aunia Kahn, Cristina Stucchi, Chris Wood, Dianne Hoffman, Jacqueline Myers-Cho, Jeannie Pappas, Justine Smith, Karen Margolis, Kim Tepe, Ksenia Shinkovskaya, Laura Colors, Lola Lebowski, Maxfield Strauss, Olga Vyshnyvetska, Paola Zakimi, Sara Swink, and Stephanie Brockway.
The show debuts on May 7, with an Opening Reception from 5 to 8 p.m.
