Join the World Forestry Center for an engaging Forest Stories event featuring Silpa Kona, author of the award-winning children’s book “A Monster on My Trail.” This author reading is included with the Free Day at the Discovery Museum, presented by Hampton Lumber.
Silpa Kona will read from “A Monster on My Trail,” a delightful picture book adventure that follows Meru, a young explorer who’s nervous about hiking because he’s convinced a monster is lurking on the trail. With humor, imagination, and a gentle nod to children’s real-world fears, the story turns what seems scary into something fun and empowering for curious minds.
