Guest programmed by the fashion in film experts, Looks on Screen, La Piscine (1969) captures a languid summer in the South of France. Part of the film series Pretty Witty and Gay, in conversation with the David Hockney exhibit, the film is set in a luxurious, vibrant and stylish villa whose pool provides a backdrop for tense drama, with costume design by André Courrèges.
