CPRD Camellia Run/Walk 5k/10k and Festival

The CPRD Camellia Run/Walk 5k/10k is a great run through residential areas, starting at 9 a.m. Each racer leaves with a camellia, or other plant. Register before March 18 to receive a T-shirt with your race registration. Starting and stopping at the Chehalem Cultural Center, plan to spend the day at the Camellia Festival. There will be food vendors, entertainment, a bazaar of local artists, and a visit to the Camellia Flower Show and the art gallery. Entrance to the festival is complimentary.
The Camellia is Newberg’s town flower, and the town even has its own registered variety. Come on down and check out the festival celebrating the history and beauty of the flower at the beautiful venue of the Chehalem Cultural Center. After the fun run, there will be performers, vendors, a camellia flower show, food trucks, a plant sale and an art show. This is a fun way to spend a day.
