The following description was submitted by the event organizer.

More than 300 artists working in metals, glass, wood, beads, fibers, clays and glazes will be exhibiting their wares, doing demonstrations, offering youth activities and more during this unique and diverse three-day artisan show. In conjunction with the Oregon Potters Association’s Ceramic Showcase, the five Guilds participating in the show include the Columbia-Willamette Faceters Guild, Creative Metal Arts Guild, Oregon Glass Guild, Guild of Oregon Woodworkers, Portland Bead Society and Portland Handweavers Guild.

In its 43rd year, this special community event offers free admission and features 300 exhibiting artists — 200 of whom are members of the Oregon Potters Association (OPA). Visitors can meet ceramic artists who specialize in a variety of handmade pottery, ranging from sculptures to functional art, and can view and purchase these one-of-a-kind pieces through a cashless checkout system. There is also an emerging artists booth that introduces promising up-and-coming OPA members, as well as a high school gallery that awards a scholarship during the event.
