The Portland Lindy Exchange (PDXLX) is Portland’s annual dance exchange celebrating the vintage swing music and dances of the ’20s – ’50s, including Charleston, Lindy Hop, Balboa, and Collegiate Shag. The Portland Lindy Exchange creates a joyful and welcoming event that unites dancers from near and far in the celebration of Lindy Hop and jazz music. With great local music, a hometown feel, and an inclusive space that allows dancers to play, connect, grow, and be inspired while embracing this African-American art form.

PDXLX was first hosted in 1999.
