The following description was submitted by the event organizer.

Rose City Roll 2026 is Portland’s second annual multi-day urban skating event. This high-energy weekend brings together inline and quad skaters from across the country (and beyond) to experience Portland’s streets, bridges, waterfront paths, and vibrant neighborhoods on wheels.

Each day features thoughtfully planned group routes that showcase the mix of smooth pavement, urban terrain, scenic views, and city exploration. From rolling through downtown to navigating Portland’s hills and iconic bridges, participants can expect and action-packed event that blends athleticism, creativity, and community.

One featured skate, Unión de Culturas, celebrates cultural diversity and unity through movement. Skaters are encouraged to bring a flag representing their heritage and roll together in a powerful visual display of inclusion and shared passion.

Whether you’re a local skater or visiting Portland for the summer, Rose City Roll offers a unique opportunity for confident urban skaters to experience the city from street level, surrounded by an energetic and inclusive skating community.
