The following description was submitted by the event organizer.

Join a free winter reading and book release. The reading will feature powerful work written by participants from the in-person fall writing program. This event is the celebration of writers, their work and their dedication to writing with their communities. Readers will include adults and veterans in recovery, youth in alternative school settings, adults living with developmental disabilities, youth experiencing homelessness, members of low-income housing and assisted living communities, and many others.

This diverse collection of voices will have their pieces published in the 65th anthology. The book is filled with reflections on the passage of time, stories of recovery from addiction, trauma, and other hardships, as well as humorous observations from the perspectives of humans and inanimate objects alike.

Copies of the anthology will be available for purchase at the event for $12.
