Azn Zine Fest

Azn Zine Fest is a community-oriented one-day zine festival located in the heart of East Portland, organized by a group of local Asian American artists.
The specific spelling of “Azn” is short for “Azn Pride”. This is a throwback to the late 1990s and early 2000s Asian internet and text messaging culture, activist culture, and artist culture, and serves as a pan-Asian identifier. This spelling was chosen because of the pan-Asian umbrella and to instill a sense of “Azn Pride” in younger generations.
