Join an unforgettable evening celebrating the spirit, heritage and flavors of Indigenous communities in honor of Native American Heritage Month.

Immerse yourself in the rich tradition of Indigenous culture and honor the exceptional talents of Native chefs, who infuse the stories of first foods into every bite.
Event highlights:
- Welcome reception, 5-6 p.m., featuring Native artisans and performers, and small bites prepared by the culinary students of Siletz Valley School.
- A multi-course dinner, 6-8:30 p.m., will showcase the artistry and vibrant flavors of Indigenous cuisine prepared by three Native chefs. Each course will be thoughtfully paired with wines crafted by Native winemakers.
- Q&A, 8:30-9 p.m. led by guest speaker Elaine Chukan Brown, hear stories of inspiration and engage in conversations with the chefs.
Meet the chefs:
- Jack Strong: executive chef at The Allison Inn and Spa and member of the Confederated Tribes of Siletz Indians.
- Nephi Craig: executive chef at the Rainbow Treatment Center and Café Gazhóó; member of the White Mountain Apache Tribe and half Navajo.
- Robert Kinneen: cultural director at NATIFS, Alaska Native of Tlingit heritage.
A portion of ticket proceeds benefits the Northwest Native Chamber. NWNC is dedicated to working with all community members to transform the economic landscape for Native people in Oregon, Washington and Idaho.
