- River Selby is a former wildland firefighter, a writer, and a nonbinary person. Their writing has appeared in the New Ohio Review, Bellevue Literary Review, Vox, and High Country News. Their most recent work is Hotshot: A Life on Fire.
- Janesh Rahlan, a California-based comedian, touches upon his immigrant upbringing and aggressively millennial persona.
- Mary Roach, a science writer, is the author of seven best-selling works of nonfiction, including Grunt, Stiff, and, most recently, Fuzz.
- Amy Millan, Canadian chanteuse, is best known as the co-lead vocalist for indie rock act Stars and as a satellite member of the iconic collective Broken Social Scene. She launched her solo career with Honey from the Tombs (2006), blending indie rock with country and folk influences. Her latest album is I Went to Find You.
