October 4 and 5: 2nd annual Indigenous Arts Festival, hosted by the Gresham Historical Society in partnership with Portland Indigenous Marketplace and Gresham Outdoor Public Art. It is a free, two-day event on Main Ave in Gresham, Oregon. The festival features free live music, performers, dancers, presenters and over 40 Indigenous Artists.

October 11 and 12: Indigenous Peoples Day Weekend at the Oregon Convention Center. Join Portland Indigenous Marketplace (PIM) for a celebration hosting 50–100 Indigenous and Black artists and entrepreneurs, promoting cultural resilience, and honoring Indigenous heritage through art and community. Native American Drum Group Turquoise Pride will perform both days from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., and Native Flute Performance by Sherrie Davis will be on Sunday only from 2 to 4 p.m.

October 13: Barbie’s Village, a tiny-home village in Northeast Portland, is hosting and Indigenous Peoples’ Day Celebration. Enjoy Vendors, a children’s pow wow, speakers and dinner.

Portland Indigenous Marketplace supports Indigenous artists and entrepreneurs by providing barrier-free, culturally respectful spaces that encourage cultural resilience and economic sustainability by promoting public education through cultural arts.
