Cat-tastic; Cat-themed Group show at Sidestreet Arts
The following description was submitted by the event organizer.
Felis Catus, or the domesticated cat, has been coexisting with humans for the last 10,000 years. Ever since they started hunting in our early grain storages, they have entered human lives. Whether a family pet or feral, cats are a part of society. And the United States, out of all of the nations around the globe, has the largest cat ownership at 73.8 million. So, Sidestreet Arts is paying homage to these tiny furry friends with a September show called: Cat-tastic. The theme of cats was the catalyst for featured artists to create with. This cataclysm of cat art could leave you catatonic with pure joy. Categorically, it has one of the largest ranges of media Sidestreet Arts has ever had — including stained glass, ceramics, oil and acrylic paintings, and paper medium. So Catfoot it over to Sidestreet Arts to see this Cat-tastic show, or they will be caterwauling with sadness.
