Seven actors, all alike in indignity, at fair Darcelle’s, where we lay our scene. Join a raucous trip through the Bard’s beloved tale of family feuding, thumb-biting, and, of course, that sweet, sweet star-crossed-loving, as The Canon Shakespeare Co. presents this special fundraising performance of Romeo and Juliet—with a twist (and maybe some lime).
Buy a drink, for yourself or your favorite actor, bid on obstacles for the players to overcome, and savor the chaos and debauchery, as Shakespeare’s great tragedy devolves into two hilarious nights of revelry.
Come, ho, to the venerable Portland institution Darcelle XV Showplace and help support The Canon while painting the town red.
