Portland premiere of local director Rollyn Stafford’s new feature film, Backseat Driver. Prior to the feature, a short film by local filmmaker Sean Parker will be screened, who will also be leading the post-film discussion with Rollyn and key cast and crew.

A comedy about Jack and his imaginary friend, Ralph. Shortly after his father dies, Jack discovers he has a half sister, Lindsey, who also has an imaginary friend, Megan. The siblings meet and get along fine, but the imaginary friends do not. Filmed in Portland and Klamath Falls, Oregon.

A harmless social media post spurs two strangers into an unhinged clash that forever alters their lives, sparking an oddly beautiful connection. The entire incident is dramatized in finger puppet theater for maximum intensity and emotion.
