Celebrate summer! Enjoy the talented artists and musicians that live right here in the beautiful Pacific Northwest at the Opera a la Cart performances.

Inspired by Portland’s food cart culture, Opera a la Cart is a mobile performance venue that brings live opera performances directly into the community spaces where people gather. You’ll find it at farmers’ markets, city parks, neighborhood festivals, street fairs, wineries, and other public events throughout the Portland metro area and region. 

This year, Opera a la Cart is also partnering with Portland Parks for the Summer Free for All: Lunch + Play program. Learn about arias, recitative, ensembles, voice types, and how the orchestra helps tell the story. 

The Portland Opera has also partnered with The Portland Cherry Bombs FC, bringing live operatic performances directly into the matchday experience.
