The following description was submitted by the event organizer.

No matter your lineage, humans have been singing and gathering around fires for millennia. Singing with others is a portal to restoring a connection to voices and belonging in the community. This gathering is an invitation to connect to yourselves and others, breaking the isolation of joys and griefs. Songs are taught in oral tradition, in a call and repeat/echo arrangement and then sung together in a group.

All voices and all ages are welcome, no matter what experience you have with singing.

“Singing is not a talent, skill, or hobby; it is a foundational technology of community and belonging.” -Siobahn Delaney
