Campfire Tales: Portland’s Community-Driven Story Stage
The following description was submitted by the event organizer.
Portland has plenty of polished stages, but Campfire Tales is a different kind of community. Hosting everyone from vetted storytellers to trembling first-timers in a space where notes are allowed, and nerves are welcome.
The connection doesn’t end when the story does. Audiences are invited to write notes for the storytellers, chat during intermission, and join for drinks at the end of the evening.
“I started Campfire Tales because I have debilitating stage fright, and I needed a stage anyway. Stubborn, I know.”
Age: 18+
Stories: 5–7 minutes, personal, and mostly true.
