HÖG ’70s heavy rock/proto-metal with a Truth and Janey vibe.. Get high on the HOG. 

Glowing Brain – Hailing from Oakland, CA, Glowing Brain is back with their second album, “Memory Distortion,” recorded at El Studio in San Francisco, with Phil Becker (Mondo Drag, Big Business) once again at the helm. Mostly fast, always loud, and rarely sober, the trio serves up ten more tracks of self-described “long hair punk.” This time around, the trio have expounded on that idea, channeling their cannabis-induced collective anxiety into a distinctive style of ripping motör-charged hardcore, unafraid to explore the deepest reaches of the inner cosmos. Call ’em punk, call ’em metal, just don’t call ’em cold-necks.
