Summer Story Fest

Join Outlet PDX and the Honeyed Words Bookstore for a free summer celebration of storytelling. Summer Story Fest will bring together over 45 zinesters, authors, and other storytellers throughout Sonny’s House, New New Crusher Courtyard, Atomic Garage’s parking lot, and While on Earth.
Folks coming through during the Summer Story Fest weekend will find a sprawling map of artists and authors, delicious ice cream by Blue Spot, and several drop-in workshops — no reservations or experience required. Join Honeyed Words, a queer and trans bookstore inside Sonny’s House, for a bookish tattoo flash event and shelves full of queer favorites. Visit Outlet PDX, a local risograph print shop, for drop-in zine and button-making activities, or take some time to browse their zine library. While on Earth, a gift shop and creative space, will host live music from the Portland Songwriters Guild, along with collaging and mark-making journaling.
Come find zines, workshops, tattoos, and more at the best bookish block party of the summer. Masks are required in indoor areas and recommended outside.
