The Portland Water Bureau is hosting an event to give the public a sneak peek of the Washington Park Reservoir site. Come celebrate this once-in-a-generation project with site tours, booths, food carts, and more.

Event highlights include:

The Portland Water Bureau replaced 130-year-old reservoirs with a new underground reservoir. The new 12.4-million-gallon reservoir was built to modern standards and has been supplying water to Portland’s westside since 2021. For one day only, get a sneak peek of the future park space that sits above the reservoir. The nearly complete park space includes two reflecting pools, a wildlife habitat area, public walking paths, and restored historic features.
