The following description was submitted by the event organizer.

You’ve wanted this. You’ve felt it was missing. You’ve needed this for years now, and now we’re here to give it to you: Group Shower’s very first sketch comedy show. An Evening with Group Shower opens the door to our boudoir and invites you in for two chances to see 60 minutes of comedy, intimacy, absurdity, pain, pleasure, and love.

Having seen a thing or two through the years, Group Shower has chronicled their travels around the globe and woven those stories into this collection of sketches. Having felt a few things, they have taken the heartbreak of loss and the elation of victory and turned their stories into what you will see on the stage. Having unearthed some of the bitter truths of humanity, they will share with you what they’ve come to know about themselves — and you — for these two nights of comedy. They’ve even seen a very, very sad dog. And yeah, they’re gonna tell you about that, too.

Group Shower is Megan Reay, Andrew Kathan, James Seminara, Tessa Waring and Lucas Salazar. What began as an improv comedy group three years ago has competed in long-form competitions, performed with a variety of Portland comedy troupes, performed in numerous sketch comedy festivals around the country, filmed a collection of digital shorts and now — for the first time — put together a night all their own to finally invite you into the shower with them.

And yes, they do shower together.

Come join them.
