Portland Sunday Parkways Presented by Kaiser Permanente is returning to Downtown Portland. Experience an energetic block party atmosphere in the heart of the city, highlighting many of Downtown Portland’s unique amenities — its public spaces, cultural destinations, and vibrant local businesses. This free community event led by the Portland Bureau of Transportation (PBOT) invites people to walk, bike, roll, and play on car-free streets.

This year’s Downtown Portland route will feature Darcelle XV Plaza to honor the legacy of Darcelle XV and celebrate the soon-to-be-completed public space in the heart of downtown.

The Downtown Portland 2.3-mile one-way event route showcases SW Broadway and SW Park Avenue between Oak and Harrison Streets. Choose your own adventure by starting anywhere on the route to bike, walk, or roll as you explore the neighborhood. There will be activation areas along the route where circulation slows for vendor marketplaces, community booths, free family-friendly activities, and live entertainment. Activation areas include the Cart Blocks, Darcelle XV Plaza, Director Park, Main Street Plaza, PSU Park Blocks, Lovejoy Fountain Park, Pettygrove Park, and Pioneer Courthouse Square.
