Put on your dancing shoes and come on down to Swan Dive for a night of New Wave and '80s fun. Blonde Neon will get the night going with ladies of the '80s rock and new wave, then Portland's tribute to the B-52s will keep you shaking your tail feather. You don't want to miss all the fun.
The Wanna Be-52’s is Portland’s tribute to the original post-punk new wave greatest party band ever. Having rocked the Portland stages for a decade now, with a focus on the first 2 legendary albums commonly referred to as the “red” and “yellow” albums, along with dance floor favorites from the original band’s top charting hits. You’ll be taken on a cosmic trip to space and beyond at one of their live shows.
Blonde Neon is a woman-fronted superdupergroup featuring all the high-energy, danceable ‘80s new wave and rock tracks by the best female artists of the decade. If you crave songs by Blondie, Missing Persons, Berlin, Pat Benatar, Heart, The Go-Go’s, Cyndi Lauper, Eurythmics, and more, you’ve come to the right place.
