Kathryn Claire & The Whylands: Third Tuesday Song Exchange

The Third Tuesday Song Exchange is a monthly show with Kathryn Claire and her band, The Whylands. Each month, Kathryn invites a musician to be a guest and perform the opening set. Since most of the guests are people Kathryn has collaborated with, she will sit in during the opener. This is an opportunity for the musical guest to perform solo (or as a duo with Kathryn) in an intimate setting and without their band. It is a chance to try new things. To experiment. To exchange music. After the opener, Kathryn Claire and The Whylands will play a full set and invite the guests to join them on several songs or the whole set. The evening is intended to build community among artists, and to create an environment where artists can be experimental, curious and creative.
