Jujuba delivers a funky, danceable style of Nigerian Afrobeat and juju music. The ten-piece ensemble features Nigerian master talking drum legend, Nojeem Lasisi, a world-class West African and Cuban percussion section, a blazing horn section, and a funky electric rhythm section. Renowned for their ability to engage a wide variety of audiences, the band draws a dance floor full of smiling faces at every performance.
Nothing says summer in Portland like a warm evening outdoors with good food and live entertainment. From June to August, the Oregon Zoo hosts Zoo Nights: evenings filled with local music, food carts, activities for all ages, and the chance to get to know some of the animals active during twilight hours.
