Mike Skill (The Romantics): From his humble beginnings with a beat-up Lyle guitar to international success with The Romantics, Mike Skill's musical journey spans over five decades. Rooted in Detroit, Skill's passion ignited as a teen playing psychedelic rock with friends and evolved through punk influences in New York's CBGB scene. As a founding member of The Romantics, Skill co-wrote iconic hits like "What I Like About You" and "Talking in Your Sleep", blending raw energy and creativity. Despite challenges, his determination and talent continue to shine as he tours with the band today.

Celebrity Telethon is a group of rock and roll irregulars operating out of the sordid lounges and nightclubs of Portland. Their acrid brew of influences emit top notes of first-wave punk, no-wave tumult and seedy R&B with a base note of mutant-flophouse country and western. This is no rehashing of bygone genres du jour, but a rallying cry heard ‘round the greater Portland Metropolitan Area: can you dig it?
