The following description was submitted by the event organizer.
Join Growing Gardens and Mama Dut for a vibrant Lunar New Year celebration at Mestizo on Sunday, January 26, with seatings at 5:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. Hosted by Waz Wu of Veganizer and Circle V, this festive evening benefits Growing Gardens, a nonprofit dedicated to hands-on, garden-based education. Enjoy a plant-based, gluten-free menu curated by chef Thuy Pham of Mama Dut, along with seasonal drinks by Nan Chaison, pastries by chef Daphne K. Jenkins, and an amuse bouche of floral onigiri by chef Jack Nakashima.
The menu features a lively array of dishes, including prosperity salad, sticky rice cakes, longevity noodles with crispy pork belly, glass dumplings, and a medicinal dessert soup.
